Microsoft Outlook 97 Mail Setup

These are the steps you need to go through to setup Outlook 97 for SpringNet Internet. 
First Click Tools and Services, Now the following screen should come up.

Read the text below each window to determine the proper settings for your geographical location.

Now click Add, and  the following screen should come up.

Make sure Internet Mail is highlighted and click Ok Now the following screen should come up.

Depending upon your location your e-mail settings will vary.

Type in your name or company name.

For Email Address put your email address

The following instructions pertain to the Incoming mail ONLY.

If you have your own domain, your incoming mail server should be set to mail.yourdomain.com, net, or org.

If you are a part of the PIIAI network, your incoming mail server should be set as mail.piiai.net.

For Account put your E-mail address..

For Password type your password and click Advanced Options.

Now click Ok on the next two windows and exit out of Outlook  and restart it and you be ready to go.
