Configuring Outlook Express |
| If you have never used Outlook Express before and/or did not go through the e-mail
setup of the Internet Explorer Connection Wizard, then you will see a Wizard when you
first enter the Outlook Express mail program. There are a couple of ways to access it. If
you are in Internet Explorer, click on the Mail button, then Read Mail. Otherwise, you
should have an icon on your desktop that says Outlook Express. Double click on it. If you don't already have a mail account setup within Outlook Express and the Wizard doesn't automatically start when you open the program, click on Tools then Accounts. |
On the Mail tab, click on Add, then Mail. |
| The Wizard will start out by asking for your name. Fill in your name as you wish it to appear on outgoing e-mail messages. Press Next. |
Enter you e-mail address. where "username" is the login name that you chose when you created your account. Once you have entered this, press Next. If you have your own domain, you will use username@yourdomain.com,
net, or org. |
